On the borders of Corrèze, Lot and Cantal, the Domaine du Vidal welcomes you to its 18th-century manor house. Completely restored, this characterful residence is a true haven for those seeking to combine unspoiled nature with refined comfort.
Northern hospitality in the heart of the Southwest. Originally from Hauts-de-France, we are committed to welcoming you with the generosity and conviviality that are so dear to us. Here, time stands still: enjoy the tranquility of the park in summer or the cozy atmosphere of the lounge by the fire in autumn.
A timeless escape. Our five rooms, named after our ancestors in homage to our roots, are an invitation to serenity. Antiqued furniture and authentic decor blend with modern comforts (central air conditioning in four rooms) to create a unique, cozy atmosphere.
Flavors and Terroir The indulgence begins at dawn with a typically French homemade breakfast. In the evening, by reservation, our table d'hôtes offers traditional and generous cuisine, prepared with fresh, local produce.
A land of adventures From the lake of Camps (500m away) to the streets of Collonges-la-Rouge, passing through the clear waters of the Dordogne, we will be your guides to help you discover the treasures of the Xaintrie.

Le Gite du Domaine du Vidal - La Bergerie
Located just behind the Manor, our gite: La Bergerie with its private terrace and view of the countryside.
This former 50 m2 sheepfold, completely renovated, guarantees you a peaceful holiday in our beautiful countryside.
The main room, air-conditioned, includes the living room (with a large bay window giving access to the terrace) equipped with a convertible sofa, the fully equipped open kitchen and the dining room.
On this level, you will find the laundry room, separate toilet and bathroom with walk-in shower.
Upstairs, the mezzanine with its two single beds and the separate double bedroom.
Ideal occupancy 4 people, possibility of 2 additional people on request.
The terrace gives access to the private garden with a view of the countryside and the lake.
The terrace of our guest house is close to the cottage. When we dine outside with our guests, the sound of conversations can be heard from the cottage, but this rarely lasts beyond 11 p.m.

Une superbe balade à deux pas de chez nous.
La rivière Dordogne est aujourd'hui classée Réserve Mondiale de Biosphère par l'UNESCO.
Elle était autrefois une voie commerciale importante où circulaient près de 300 gabares, à l'apogée de la navigation fluviale au XVIIe siècle.
Il y a encore quelques traces visibles qui rappellent le passé portuaire à Argentat-sur-Dordogne.
Son quai pavé permet d'approcher un courpet, nom que portaient les gabares de Haute-Dordogne.
Une fidèle reconstitution d'après les informations réunies par Eusèbe Bombal, écrivain et historien natif d'Argentat.
